How paying for dental care works here
1. You get a written estimate first
After your exam, our treatment plan coordinator, Ashley, gives you an itemized estimate: the full fee, what your insurance should pay, and your portion. Nothing starts until you’ve seen the numbers.
2. Choose how to pay
Pay in full, use insurance, join the membership plan, finance it monthly, or combine them. We’ll show you what each one costs for your specific treatment.
3. Treatment moves at your pace
Tell us your budget and we’ll order treatment around it: urgent work first, elective work when it fits.

Cash, check, and credit card
We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards. Pay at your visit, or set up financing before treatment starts.
Monthly financing
Four partners split treatment into monthly payments. Most applications take a few minutes online and come back with an answer right away.
- CareCredit: a healthcare credit card with interest-free promotional periods on qualifying purchases when you pay the balance within the promo term.
- Cherry: short-term payment plans with a soft credit check and no hard inquiry to see your offer.
- Sunbit: approves most applicants and splits the bill into monthly payments, with no late fees.
- Proceed Finance: longer terms for larger treatment plans like implants and full-mouth work.

$169 new patient special
New patients without insurance start with a complete exam, a full set of x-rays, and a professional cleaning for $169. If Dr. Friberg finds you need a deep cleaning or periodontal treatment instead, part of that fee goes toward your treatment plan.
15% off Invisalign for our first 100 patients
Our first 100 Invisalign patients get 15% off their complete treatment, and the consultation is always free. There’s no expiration date, but the 100 spots will run out.
Thrive Health Club membership plan
Our in-house membership plan replaces insurance for patients who don’t have it. One flat fee covers your preventive care for the year and takes up to 10% off everything else, with no deductible, no annual maximum, no waiting period, and no claim forms.
- Child membership: $28 a month or $308 a year. Two cleanings, exams, x-rays, fluoride, and up to 10% off other treatment.
- Adult membership: $45 a month or $485 a year. Two cleanings, exams, x-rays, and up to 10% off other treatment.
- Periodontal membership: $65 a month or $710 a year. Perio maintenance visits, exams, x-rays, and up to 10% off other treatment.

Dental insurance
We’re in-network with AlwaysCare/Unum, Careington, Cigna DPPO, Equitable, Humana PPO, Lincoln Financial Group, MetLife PDP Plus, Mutual of Omaha Group Plans, and Renaissance.
Out of network? We still file your claim, including for Humana, Cigna (non-DPPO), MetLife (non-PDP Plus), Careington Dental Umbrella, and most other PPO plans.
Our team verifies your benefits before your visit and puts your estimated portion in writing. Send us your plan details and we’ll check your coverage.
Which option fits you?
- You have dental insurance: send us your plan details, we verify it and file for you, and we check the annual maximum before scheduling major work.
- No insurance, routine care: the $169 new patient special for your first visit, then the membership plan for the year.
- No insurance, bigger treatment: the membership plan for up to 10% off, plus financing for the rest. Dental implants and veneers are typical examples.

Do I need insurance to book a visit?
No. We welcome patients with or without dental insurance. Without it, you can use the $169 new patient special, the Thrive Health Club membership, or monthly financing.
How do I apply for financing?
Click any partner button above to open its secure application. Most take a few minutes and come back with an answer right away. You can also apply at the front desk before treatment, and Ashley can help you compare terms.
Can I combine payment methods?
Yes. Many patients use insurance for part of a treatment and financing or the membership discount for the rest. We’ll build the combination that costs you the least.
How does the membership plan compare to insurance?
The Thrive Health Club membership plan has no deductible, no annual maximum, no waiting period, and no claim forms, and it starts the day you join. Insurance pays a share of treatment up to a yearly cap. Our blog explains how the Health Club works.
What if my insurance isn't listed?
We’ll still file your claim as an out-of-network provider. Call (910) 240-4797 or use our insurance page and we’ll verify your benefits and explain your coverage before your visit.
Can I pay over time without a hard credit check?
Yes. Cherry and Sunbit show your options with a soft check that doesn’t affect your score. A hard inquiry only happens if you accept a plan that requires one.
Can I finance emergency dental care?
Yes. Call (910) 240-4797. We’ll explain the cost of relieving the problem and help you apply for financing the same day so treatment doesn’t wait on a lump sum.
